Allow Employee to Bypass SSO
Applies To: Agencies with Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled
Overview
When Single Sign‑On (SSO) is enabled for a tenant, all users are required to authenticate through the agency’s identity provider. However, some employees may need to log in using their standard Accountability username and password for example, during troubleshooting, device limitations, or when access to the SSO provider is unavailable.
The “Allow employee to bypass SSO” Custom Data Type enables agencies to specify which employees are permitted to sign in without SSO. This setting applies across both web and mobile platforms.
Before You Start
- This Custom Data Type is available to all SSO‑enabled agencies.
- The bypass setting must be configured per employee.
- Users with bypass enabled will authenticate using the standard login flow.
