Balance Sheet Consolidation Report
Get a consolidated financial statement across your parent office and subsidiaries with multiple currencies
Steps
These are steps on how to request the Balance Sheet Consolidation Report.
- On the main navigation bar, go to Accounting > General Ledger > General Ledger Reports and expand the Balance Sheet Reports section to see the list of available reports.
- Select the Balance Sheet Consolidation Report.
- There are 2main sections on the report request page
- Request parameters
- Accounting Period: You can view your consolidated balance sheet at a point in time by selecting the Accounting Year and Accounting Month
- Monthly FX Rate Card: Learn more about how to create one here.
- Show Sub GL Account Details: This is checked by default. If you created header accounts, uncheck this to roll up the report at the header account level.
- Show Eliminations: This is checked by default to include elimination entries on the consolidated balance sheet.
- Convert to Selected Currency: Select this to get a consolidated report across offices with various currencies. The Report FX Rate column on the office list at the bottom of the request page will appear showing the FX rate for each office to the selected Report Currency.
- Apply Ownership %: This will apply the Ownership % specified on the each Office record.
- Report Format: If your agency has custom financial statement formats, you can apply one of those formats to this report. See Financial Statement Formats for more information.
- Column Format: You can choose to flowchart your report by Office or by Entity. If you only want to include specific offices or entities in the report, use the Filters or select/de-select the offices on the list accordingly.
- Filters
- You can include only specific offices or entities by filtering your report. The list of offices you see are based on the Office Restrictions on your Employee record.
- Request parameters
- Click Preview to view the Balance Sheet Consolidation Report and export it into PDF. You can also select Excel to download the report into data format.
