How to configure Layout
To facilitate your navigation of the system you can set how you wish to display the data on those screens and retain this format for future searches.
You can set:
- Which data columns you want to see (and those you want to hide)
- The order of those columns on the page
Steps:
- Click the button ‘Layout’ and a pop up will appear
- If you don’t want to see a specific column – just click on the eye icon under column visibility and that column will no longer be displayed
- If you want to move the order that a specific Column displays on the Search screen just use the ‘up arrow’ and the ' down arrow" to move that column up or down.
- Effectively you choose which columns are to be displayed and in which order they are displayed
- On this same page you can also assign the sort order of the data displayed.
For example if you want the data to be sorted firstly by one criteria eg Clients, then by another eg Job No, select "1" from the drop down menu (Data Sort Order) for the first criteria (Clients) and then ‘2’ next to the second criteria (Jobs) and so on
The system will remember these changes so any time the search page is opened your data column and sort order preferences will be used – but you can change these any time you want by clicking the “Layout’ button again.
