Consolidated Exchange Rates

Daily imported FX rates from Xignite are used to calculate the average rates for the month and applied to reports.

LAST UPDATED: September 2, 2024

Previous day's exchange rates are imported from Xignite daily. These rates are used to calculate an average FX rate for the month and can be applied on reports across various offices using different currencies.

How to find Consolidated FX Rates

1. Navigate to Set Up Files > Currencies

2. Click on the Consolidated Exchange Rates link

3. The system will display a table which calculates the average exchange rate between various currencies for the specific accounting month and year.

Terms	Definitions
Office Currency	Base currency transactions/journal entries have been recorded against
Reporting Currency	Currency to convert to
Average FX Rate	System calculated average exchange rate for the accounting month/year
Current FX Rate	Latest average rate from Xignite
Historical FX Rate	Same logic as Current FX Rate

Tip - Use the Filters to narrow down the year, month and currencies you would like to see.

Use Calculate to update the Rate Table

Click on the Calculate button to update the rate table with the most recent exchange rates from Xignite.

Daily Exchange Rates from Xignite

You can export the daily exchange rates from Xignite based on the filters defined by clicking on the Export Xignite FX Rates link.
