COUNTA App Release - April 21, 2025
Attach proof of payment in addition to expense receipt
What is it?
Mobile app users now have the option to attach additional documents to an expense line.
Why does it matter?
This is especially important for agencies who require proof of payment in addition to an expense receipt.
How does it work?
- You will now see an Attachment icon next to the Receipt icon.
- Click on the Attachment icon to take a photo of the document or upload it from device.
- While the mobile app UI allows you to attach a document for each expense line, all of the attachments are saved in the Files and Hyperlinks folder at the Expense Claim header level. Expense approvers will continue to access these documents through this folder.
- The COUNTA app automatically assigns a unique file name to every attachment as you can see in the example below. This retains the link between the expense line and the attachment so you can always see the proof of payment with the receipt in the mobile app.
