Introducing SmartScan for card receipts, a redesigned mileage experience, and streamlined Company ID login
SmartScan for My Cards
What is it?
A new SmartScan feature that allows you to attach credit card receipts by capturing a photo or importing a photo/file, with the app automatically extracting the receipt details and matching them to the correct credit card transaction.
Why does it matter?
Previously, users had to manually attach receipts to card transactions, which was time-consuming. With SmartScan, receipts are processed automatically, and the app can match them even when the receipt date and card posting date differ by several days—saving time and improving accuracy.
How does it work?

You can capture a receipt on the spot or import one from your device.

SmartScan reads the receipt and extracts the merchant, amount, and date. In the future, SmartScan will support foreign currency receipts.

The app automatically matches the receipt to the correct card transaction, even if posting dates differ by +1–5 days.

If the transaction hasn’t appeared yet, the receipt is placed in Pending Match and is automatically linked once the transaction arrives.
Streamlined Mileage Logging
What is it?
A redesigned mileage entry experience with a dedicated Add Mileage option and more flexible support for company mileage configurations, including multiple mileage categories (e.g., internal vs. client).
Why does it matter?
Mileage entry on mobile was previously limited and did not fully support company configurations. Users could only use a single mileage task type, and the workflow wasn’t intuitive. The update makes mileage submission faster, clearer, and aligned with how companies manage multiple mileage categories.
How does it work?

A new Add Mileage option appears at the top of the Task Type list.

Selecting it opens a guided mileage form to enter distance, rate, and From/To details.

If your company has a default mileage setup, it is automatically applied.

Users can override the task type or rate if their company uses multiple mileage categories.

The app calculates mileage by multiplying distance × rate.
More Flexible Company ID Setup
What is it?
Enhanced support for organizations that use alternate Company IDs, such as shorter versions or updated IDs after a rebrand.
Why does it matter?
Some companies prefer simplified or newly branded Company IDs for logging in. Previously, users could not always log in with alternate IDs, causing confusion and support tickets. This update makes login more flexible and supports organizational changes.
How does it work?

Your Accountability Admin submits a support request and Accountability will configure an alternate Company ID for your agency.

Once configured, users can log in using either the primary or alternate Company ID.

The mobile app automatically recognizes and validates the configured ID during login.
