General improvements

Enhanced login process

We have streamlined the login process and the authentication workflow for SSO (Single Sign-On) users, making it faster and easier to access your account.

The login page will dynamically update, enabling SSO, if the Company ID entered has been configured for Single Sign-On.

Job management enhancements

  • Improved job filtering

When searching for a job to assign on a time entry, expense line, or credit card transaction, the app will only include jobs that meet the following criteria:

    • The employee has access to the office of the Job
    • The Job is active
    • The transaction type is not locked

  • Jobs are now sorted in alpha-numeric order for easier navigation

Expense management upgrades

Multi-currency support

  • The COUNTA app now defaults the Expense Claim currency to the employee's home office currency.  This eliminates the need for the user to override the currency code when entering expense lines.
  • Added support for multi-currency expense claims, perfect for international business travel

User experience enhancements

  • Fixed the pesky expense line duplication bug
  • Standardized receipt options across credit card and manual expenses for consistency

Flexibility for non-billable expenses

If  "Expense Claims and Credit Cards must be assigned to a job" is not enabled in the agency's Expense & Credit Card Setup Option, the COUNTA app no longer requires a Job to enter a Task Type.  The platform treats all expense lines and credit card transactions coded to just a Task Type as non-billable.

Time management updates

  • Hide Task Type on the Time Entry form

Agencies with the "Lock Task Type" option enabled on  Timesheet Options can now use the COUNTA mobile app.  Time entries on the app will only require a Job.

Note: When an employee's default task type is updated, the agency admin should unpin all pinned time lines with the old task type.

  • Resolved an issue where the job and Task Type fields appeared blank when editing time entries from the homepage
