[FAQ] Zoom In/Out if Buttons Are Missing

Scenario: If you notice that buttons, icons, or action menus are missing or appear cut off on your screen while using Accountability, the issue is often caused by your browser’s zoom level. This can affect how the platform displays buttons and grids, especially on smaller or high-resolution screens.

How to Fix the Display

1. Adjust your browser zoom.

  • On Windows: Press Ctrl + 0 to reset zoom to default (100%).

  • On Mac: Press Command (⌘) + 0 to reset zoom.

  • To zoom out:

    • Ctrl + – (Windows) or Command (⌘) + – (Mac)

  • To zoom in:

    • Ctrl + + (Windows) or Command (⌘) + + (Mac)

Try returning to 100% or 90% zoom — these typically restore full visibility of buttons and panels.

2. Check your browser window size.
If you’re working on a laptop or smaller screen, try:

  • Expanding the browser to full screen (F11 on Windows or Control + Command + F on Mac).

  • Closing sidebars or bookmarks panels to free up screen space.

3. Refresh the page.
After adjusting zoom or resizing the window, press F5 (Windows) or Command + R (Mac) to refresh the page.
This ensures Accountability reloads at the correct zoom and screen ratio.

Consistent zoom settings (100%) ensure that all modules, buttons, and pop-up actions display properly across Accounting, Jobs, Media, and Master Files menus.
