How to create a Header and Sub GL Accounts
This feature lets you create a sub-structure for your GL Accounts to track transactions better. It also allows for detailed or summary reports at the header account level.
Steps:
- Create a New General Ledger Account.
- Once created, you can then create a sub-account by selecting a HEADER ACCOUNT NO.
- Click SAVE or SAVE & CLOSE.
For GL Reports that contain GL Accounts, the default setting will display the Sub-Account detail. However, you can choose to hide this by unchecking the Show Sub GL Account Detail? box.
