How to change or delete a client job invoice
Change a client job invoice
Steps:
- Navigate to ACCOUNTING >Receivables > Client Job Invoices.
- Use the Filters to narrow down your search, or scroll through the list of INVOICE NO.
- Click the Invoice No. that needs to be changed.
- Edit or change the following information
Field Description Invoice Title Enter an invoice title - optional. Date Change or enter a new date but cannot be changed if it has been approved or was created using the invoice from cost method. Accounting Year Select an accounting year - optional and cannot be changed if it has been approved or was created using the invoice from cost method. Accounting Month Select an accounting month - optional and cannot be changed if it has been approved or was created using the invoice from cost method. Client Order No. Enter a client order number - optional. Payment Terms Change the payment terms - optional. Period of Service Enter a period of service - optional. Due Date Change or enter a due date - optional. Nominated Approver Enter a nominated approver - optional. - Click SAVE or SAVE & CLOSE.
Deleting a draft invoice
Steps:
- Navigate to ACCOUNTING >Receivables > Client Job Invoices.
- Use the Filters to narrow down your search, or scroll through the list of INVOICE NO.
- Click the Invoice No. that needs to be deleted.
- Click DELETE.
- Alternatively, you can also click the box to the left of the invoice number to DELETE the entry.
- A notification will appear on the bottom of the page confirming the deletion.
Only draft production invoices can be deleted. If a live (non-draft) invoice needs to be removed, it needs to be canceled.
