How to create Inventory locations

Inventory Locations organize and store items in a business's inventory system, offering clear locational references for stock management.

Browsing Inventory Locations

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Manage > Inventories.

  2. Click on the Inventory Locations hyperlink.

  3. Review Existing Locations:

    • The screen will list all current inventory locations, such as different warehouses or storage areas.
  4. Utilizing Filters:

    • Use filters to search for a specific location if needed.

Creating a New Inventory Location

On the Inventory Locations browse page, follow these steps:

  1. Click the NEW INVENTORY LOCATION button.

  2. Enter Details:

    • Input a descriptive name in the INVENTORY LOCATION NAME field to identify the new location.
  3. Save the New Location:

    • Select SAVE to add the location to the system.
  1. After Creation:

    • The newly created location will be added to the inventory locations list.
    • To add more locations, click on New Inventory Location.
