How to delete and edit a leave type
Setting up accurate leave types helps your organization in providing employees with a better understanding of their entitlements.
In order to delete and edit a leave type the user must have administrative rights within the platform
Steps:
- Navigate to MASTER FILES > Employees.
- Select Leave Types.
- The Leave Types landing page will be presented.
- To edit a Leave Type.
- How to make a leave type inactive?
- Uncheck the box under active.
- How to change Standard and Employee Settings?
- Select the Standard Settings to assign an enterprise level configuration setting for the following: (Example: Everyone in the organization are entitled to the same number of floating holidays)
- Office.
- Annual Entitlement Days.
- Start Date.
- Entitlement Expires End of Month.
- Select the Employee Settings icon to assign an employee level configuration for the following: (Example: Employees receive different numbers of vacation days depending on tenure)
- Employee.
- Annual Entitlement Days.
- Start Date.
- Start Balance.
- Entitlement Expires End of Month.
- Select the Standard Settings to assign an enterprise level configuration setting for the following: (Example: Everyone in the organization are entitled to the same number of floating holidays)
- To Delete a leave type.
- Check the box to the left of the Leave Type Description.
- Select DELETE LINE.
- How to make a leave type inactive?
- Select Save or Save & Close.
