How to receive notifications on approval scenarios

Get notifications on transaction submissions and approvals when using approval scenarios.

 

Message vs. Email 

  • Message - is a native feature that enables users to send and receive notifications to contacts that are within Accountability. This option will alert users regarding a submission or approval created within the system. 
  • Email - allows users to reply to e-mails sent from within Accountability. Users can either respond via email or through the Accountability system. The recipient will receive a message from messages@accountabilityaccess.com via email. 

Steps:

  1. Navigate to SET UP FILES > Approval & Posting Settings
  2. Click on Approval Scenarios on the top right of the page. 
  3. Use the Filters to narrow your search or click on one of the listed transaction types. 
  4. The approval scenario for that selection will appear. 
  5. Select an option from the following drop-down box.

    Field Description
    Message on Submit

    Click on the arrow and select from one of the following options to receive notifications on submitted transactions. 

    • No message or email
    • Send message only 
    • Send message and email
    Message on Approval

     Click on the arrow and select from one of the following options to receive notifications on approved transactions. 

    • No message or email
    • Send message only 
    • Send message and email

     

  6. Click Save.
