How to receive notifications on approval scenarios
Get notifications on transaction submissions and approvals when using approval scenarios.
Message vs. Email
- Message - is a native feature that enables users to send and receive notifications to contacts that are within Accountability. This option will alert users regarding a submission or approval created within the system.
- Email - allows users to reply to e-mails sent from within Accountability. Users can either respond via email or through the Accountability system. The recipient will receive a message from messages@accountabilityaccess.com via email.
Steps:
- Navigate to SET UP FILES > Approval & Posting Settings.
- Click on Approval Scenarios on the top right of the page.
- Use the Filters to narrow your search or click on one of the listed transaction types.
- The approval scenario for that selection will appear.
- Select an option from the following drop-down box.
Field Description Message on Submit Click on the arrow and select from one of the following options to receive notifications on submitted transactions.
- No message or email
- Send message only
- Send message and email
Message on Approval Click on the arrow and select from one of the following options to receive notifications on approved transactions.
- No message or email
- Send message only
- Send message and email
- Click Save.
