How to set up a Corporate Credit Card Proxy
Designate an employee to have rights to manage another employee's corporate credit card claims.
What is it?
A Corporate Credit Card Proxy can enter and manage corporate credit card claims on behalf of another employee. For example, an Executive Assistant might be designated as a proxy for a member of the executive team.
Why does it matter?
Finance teams can rely on corporate credit card proxies to submit credit card claims with required receipts on time.
How does it work?
- Navigate to Master Files > Employees and open the Employee record.
- Click the Approval Rights link on the top of the page.
- Check the box next to Corporate Credit Card Proxy and select the Employee level
- Click the Employees link at the top of the page and select the employees that this employee proxy will create corporate credit card claims for and click on the Save button.
- Once the employee is set up as a corporate credit card proxy, they can navigate to My Corporate Credit Cards, and click on the selector icon to access another employee's My Corporate Credit Cards page.
Notes:
- Creating a credit card claim by proxy is the same as creating a credit card claim for yourself via the My Corporate Credit Cards page.
- Corporate Credit Card proxies will be notified via email if the claim submitted is rejected.
The proxy must be assigned to a User Access Group which has access to Corporate Credit Card Proxy.
