How to enter time in My Calendar

Time can also be entered from the My Calendar screen, available under the My Menu icon

If you are using the Task Management function any tasks created and allocated to a User will appear in the User's My Calendar screen, in the My Outstanding Task pane. This allows the the User to click on the Time clock icon to the left of a specific task and start the clock time entry.

Steps:

  1. If you want to enter time onto a job via the Calendar, right click on your mouse on the calendar at the time if day you want to enter from eg 10.00 am
  2. This will bring up a menu box
  3. Click on New Task
  4. From the drop-down menu lookup the job.
  5. Select the Job No, enter any other details, including comments in the Description box , then press ok.
  6. The time entry will appear in the Calendar screen as a greyed out panel within the time frames you selected.
      1. You can use your mouse to expand or contract the greyed out panel, to increase or decrease time entry.
      2. You can also use your mouse to drag the whole greyed out time panel to another time of the day.
  7. If you want to Delete the time entry move your mouse over the greyed out panel and right click your mouse and a pop up box will appear allowing to select Delete
  8. Click on Delete

Any time entered via the My Calendar screen will appear in the My Time screen but not the other way around
