How to set up a Timesheet Proxy
A timesheet proxy can enter, change and delete time on your behalf.
Video Tutorial:
In order to set up a timesheet proxy, you need to have Admin access assigned to the platform. The user also needs to be in a User Access Group that has access to the timesheet proxy.
Assign approval rights
Steps:
- Navigate to Master Files>Employees.
- Search and Select the employee that needs a timesheet proxy assigned.
- Click on the Employee Code to access the details of the employee.
- Change the approval rights to Defined.
- On the top right-hand side of the page, click Approval Rights.
- Check the approval rights box that says Timesheet Proxy.
- This will automatically check the Employee Level.
- Click SAVE.
Assign an employee as a proxy
Steps:
- Check the first box on the Timesheet Proxy line.
- Click Employees on the top right of the page.
- Choose the desired employee to add as a proxy, then click > to move them to the box to the right.
- Click SAVE or SAVE & CLOSE.
- Once the employee is set up as a proxy, navigate to Time & Tasks > My Time.
- Click the switch icon to view the selected employees that have been assigned to the timesheet proxy.
