How to set up a Timesheet Proxy

A timesheet proxy can enter, change and delete time on your behalf.

In order to set up a timesheet proxy, you need to have Admin access assigned to the platform. The user also needs to be in a User Access Group that has access to the timesheet proxy. 

Assign approval rights

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Master Files>Employees.
  2. Search and Select the employee that needs a timesheet proxy assigned.
  3. Click on the Employee Code to access the details of the employee.
  4. Change the approval rights to Defined.
  5. On the top right-hand side of the page, click Approval Rights

  6. Check the approval rights box that says Timesheet Proxy. 
  7. This will automatically check the Employee Level.
  8. Click SAVE. 

Assign an employee as a proxy

Steps:

  1. Check the first box on the Timesheet Proxy line.
  2. Click Employees on the top right of the page.

  3. Choose the desired employee to add as a proxy, then click  >  to move them to the box to the right. 
  4. Click SAVE or SAVE & CLOSE. 
  5. Once the employee is set up as a proxy, navigate to Time & Tasks > My Time.
  6. Click the switch icon to view the selected employees that have been assigned to the timesheet proxy.
