How to enter time using My Time
The My Time module enables you to record time, to bill more accurately and track project costs. There are two ways users can access My Time within Accountability, through TIME & TASKS or under My Menu.
Video Tutorial:
Steps:
1. There are two ways you can access MY Time
- TIME & TASKS > My Time
- Navigate to My Menu>My Time.
2. The My Time landing page will be presented. On the middle of the screen, the system will assign the current workweek by default. If you need to change the dates, you can use the back and forwards arrow or click on the Calendar Icon.
3. To enter time, first we need to select a job. Navigate to the first available line under job and enter or use the magnifying glass to search for a job.
A pop up window will be presented and a list of active jobs will appear. Select the job where time needs to be recorded.
4. Next we will need to enter a Task Type. You can enter a task type for this job or you can use the magnifying glass icon to search.
Type | Description |
Job | A Job represents a client or internal project that an agency needs to allocate resources and cost against. It is also the foundation of all transactions within Accountability. |
Task Type | Task Types are used to categorize line items and are shared across offices, clients, and suppliers within Accountability |
5. Enter your time and select Save.
Enter time in fractions of hours e.g. 2 hours and 45 minutes is entered as 2.75
Users can add multiple time entries on a Job or edit the time entry whilst the time entry is unapproved.
6. You can add comments by clicking the notes icon and selecting Save.
7. Review your entry and select Submit.
