Comprehensive history for client cash receipts
What is it?
An audit trail feature capturing complete receipt history. Tracks all changes from creation to posting, showing who made changes, what changed, and when. Automatic with no setup needed.

Why does it matter?
Full visibility into receipt history. Track amount modifications, payment method updates, posting times, and more. Essential for internal controls and external audits.
How does it work?
Steps
- Go to Accounting > Receivables > Receipts
- Use filters to find receipts
- Click Audit Trail link at top of page
- Export to Excel or PDF as needed
How to Read the Report
- Each row shows an action (insert, update, delete)
- Changed values highlighted in grey
- Action Date and User columns show timing and responsibility
- Group rows by Receipt ID for complete history
The audit trail captures:
- Basic receipt details (transaction numbers, client information, dates)
- Financial data (amounts, payment methods, currencies)
- Bank account information
- Receipt status
- Invoice references
- Department assignments
- Notes and descriptions
