Send Job details to Monday.com
Create detailed project timeline and resource allocation for Accountability jobs within Monday Workflow Management
Overview
Accountability's open API enables agencies to integrate project management tools, like Monday.com, with Accountability's Job Management and Profitability workflow.
This integration ensures that all projects executed and tracked with Monday Work Management have a corresponding Job number in Accountability.
You'll need a Monday Work Management account to use this integration. This integration works with the Pro and Enterprise versions of Monday WM.

Accountability-Monday integration at-a-glance
Before getting started: Monday prerequisites
- Create a Monday board to track your Accountability jobs. This board needs to have the following columns. The column names need to be exact.
Column Name What is it? Project This will be populated with the Job Description from Accountability. Client This will be populated with the Client Name associated with the Accountability Job. Job No. This will be populated with the Accountability Job No. and a hyperlink to the Job form.
Note that you need to be logged in to Accountability to launch the form.
Job Type This will be populated with the Job Type associated with the Accountability Job. - You will need a Monday API key to enable the integration. Your Monday Admin can navigate to the Administration section under their profile. Within the Administration panel, select Connections, then go to the API tab and copy the Personal API Token.
Enabling the integration
Once you have completed the Monday prerequisites, you can enable the integration.
- Navigate to Set Up Files > Set Up Options and click the API Integrations link.
- On the API Integrations page, click the Monday Credentials link.
- Enter the following details:

- Monday Instance URL: This is your agency's dedicated Monday.com URL
- API Key: This is the Personal API Token from your Administrator.
- Monday Board ID: This is the board ID of the Job List board you created.
- Administrator: Enter the name of your Monday Administrator. For reference only - this is currently not used by the integration.
Send job details to your Monday board
Once the integration is enabled:
- Once you have reviewed your job details, navigate to the Activity menu and select Send to Monday.com.
- This will automatically create a line item on the Monday board you created to track Accountability jobs. A unique line item ID is generated and sent back to Accountability. This line and the job in Accountability are now linked.
Configure your agency-specific workflow in Monday
Now that you have the list of Accountability Jobs within a dedicated Monday board, you can create the necessary automations to create a detailed project plan or timeline for each line item. For example:

You could create an automation in Monday to use a specific project plan template based on the Accountability Job Type.
- You could create an automation so that project boards for a specific client (using the Client Name from Accountability) are added to a specified folder within a specified workspace.
