How to post and unpost a Client Sundry Invoice

With just a few clicks, you can post or unpost a client sundry invoice on our platform.

Post a client sundry invoice

Steps: 

  1. Navigate to ACCOUNTING > Receivables > Client Sundry Invoices.
  2. The Search Client Sundry Invoices page will be displayed.
  3. Use the Filters to narrow down your search, or scroll through the list of CLIENT SUNDRY INVOICE NO.
  4. Select the unposted Client Sundry Invoice No. that needs to be posted. 
  5. Click POST
  6. You can also click the box to the left of the client sundry invoice number to POST the receipt.

  7. A notification will appear on the bottom of the page confirming the approval. 

Once an invoice has been posted, it will trigger the following actions:

  • The invoice is posted to the general ledger (a journal entry is created in the general ledger for the invoice).
  • The system Receivables Aging sub-ledger is updated to include the details of the invoice.
  • The invoice is locked so that it can’t be deleted, and no changes to the invoice amounts are allowed. 

 

Unpost a client sundry invoice

Steps: 

  1. Navigate to ACCOUNTING > Receivables > Client Sundry Invoices. 
  2. Use the Filters to narrow down your search, or scroll through the list of CLIENT SUNDRY INVOICES NO. 
  3. By default, the system will show unposted transactions only. Change the SHOW POSTED? filter to Unposted Only. 
  4. Select the Client Sundry Invoice No. that you wish to unpost. 
  5. Click UNPOST. 
  6. You can also click the box to the left of the CLIENT SUNDRY INVOICE NO. to UNPOST the invoice.

  7. A notification will appear at the bottom of the page confirming that the invoice has been unposted.
