Sundry Invoices - How to Change

NB that there are a number of restrictions as to the changes that can be made to an existing Sundry Invoice

A Sundry invoice that has been approved can not have any changes made to it which impact the amount of the invoice – only items such as header notes/line item notes and the client contact can be changed. In the case where the invoice amounts need to be changed it must be un-approved first

Under some circumstances the invoice date and the accounting month can not be changed, for example if the invoice has been approved delete a Sundry invoice

To change an existing Sundry Invoice
Go to Accounting / Receivables / Sundry Invoices/Search Sundry Invoices
Search for the Sundry Invoice to be changed
Click on the Invoice No. to open the Sundry Invoice Form...
NB only unapproved Sundry Invoices can be deleted
If the Sundry Invoice is approved you will need to unapprove it by clicking on UNAPPROVE
To change the invoice display properties:
To display the unit and rate values for the line items on the Sundry Invoice when it is printed – tick the box in the header section (or un-tick this box if units and rates are to be suppressed)
To suppress the line item details completely on the printed Production Invoice – tick the box in the header section

To change the invoice header details
Click the Notes hyperlink on the top right of the page to add or change the header notes
Click the Contact hyperlink on the top right of the page. You can then assign this invoice to a different contact for that client if required.
The client order no. information for the invoice can be added or changed in the space provided on the header section of the page

To change to the invoice line item details
Click the page icon in the ‘Edit’ column (note as per above that this will not be allowed if the invoice has been approved)

To add more lines to the invoice
Click the ADD LINE button at the bottom of the page
Enter information for the new lines
