Using the Media Feature
The Media feature provides a single workflow for managing media activity. It connects operational tasks such as scheduling and booking with accounting processes including invoicing and supplier reconciliation.
The Media menu includes:
- Media Options: Global settings for invoicing and reconciliation
- Media Master Files: Setup for Media Types and Mediums
- Media Schedules: Create and manage planned spots or insertions
- Media Bookings: Confirm placements and generate booking records
- Media Material: Manage creative key numbers
- Media Accounting: Client and supplier invoicing
- Media Summaries: Review schedules and bookings
- Media Reports: Reporting and reconciliation
- WIP (Work in Progress): Media postings are held in WIP until invoiced
- Two-Sided Accounting: Client billing and supplier costs are linked for profitability
- Lifecycle Workflow: Setup → Scheduling → Booking → Invoicing → Reporting
The Media feature allows agencies to manage both client and supplier sides of media in one system, ensuring visibility into spend, revenue, and profitability across campaigns.
