Fixed: Currency Code on Expense Claim Approval Email

Expense Claim screens now correctly reflect the currency used in the claim.

What was the issue?

When viewing an Expense Claim from the approval email, the page showed “USD” as the currency in the column header regardless of the actual currency.  Note that the issue was only with the displayed currency code.  The amount was correct.

What’s been fixed

The screen now correctly displays the currency from the submitted expense claim. This fix applies to both the summarized and individual approval views.

Sequential Approvals for Estimates

Estimates now follow the same approval process as invoices—making it easier to review, track, and manage approvals with confidence.

What is it?

You can now route Estimates through a sequential approval process, just like Client Job Invoices. Approvals are handled at the document level, allowing teams to review and approve each version before it's finalized or sent to a client.

Why it matters?

This adds more control and consistency to how your team handles Estimates. It helps reduce errors, improves accountability, and supports approval workflows for budgets, quotes, or early-stage project planning. It’s a simple way to bring Estimates into your standard review process.

How does it work?

You need to have the right level of access to set this up.

  1. Navigate to Set Up Files > Approval and Posting Settings and click on the  Approval Scenarios link.
  2. Create a "New Scenario" for each office.  Select the Transaction Type of "Estimate".
  3. For each approval Sequence, select the Approval Data Type of "Estimate", then select the approver from the Approver Type list .Screenshot 2025-04-20 at 10.56.04 PM

Leave Approval Workflow Improvements

More accurate alerts, cleaner navigation, and better access control for Leave approvals.

What is it?

Several updates have been made to improve the Leave approval experience, making it more consistent with how other approvals work across the platform. These updates affect dashboard alerts, approval screen access, and how leave approval permissions are managed.

Why it matters?

Previously, the system showed all pending leave requests—even those not assigned to the logged-in approver—and linked users to the wrong screen. This caused confusion and led some users to approve leave through the Manage screen, bypassing the proper approval flow. These changes aim to reduce mistakes, clarify responsibilities, and streamline access.

How does it work?

There's no additional configuration required to take advantage of these improvements.

New “Fee Only” Column in Schedule Import Template

Easily include fee-only records in your media schedule imports.

What is it?

A new "Bill Client Fee Only" column has been added to the Media Schedule Import template, indicating if the media schedule is a for "fee billing" only.

Why it matters?

This change simplifies the process of importing media schedules that are for "agency fee billing" only.  You no longer need to manually update these records after import, which saves time and reduces the chance of errors.

How does it work?

  1. Navigate to Media > Media Schedules and click on the Excel button.  Download the import template.
