Extend Job Cash Summary data into QuickSight, add trackable electronic responses to Media Insertion Orders, plus other enhancements and fixes

Job Cash Summary data is now available in QuickSight

Turn job-level cash information into reusable analysis and dashboards without manually exporting report data.

What’s new

Users can now create a custom QuickSight dataset directly from the Job Cash Summary report. The dataset includes the financial information needed to understand the cash position of each job:

  • Amount billed to clients

  • Amount received from clients

  • Supplier invoices

  • Payments made to suppliers

  • Net cash position by job

Why it matters

Job Cash Summary information can now be analyzed across multiple jobs, incorporated into dashboards, and shared with business stakeholders in QuickSight. This reduces manual exports and makes it easier to monitor project cash performance and broader financial trends.

How to use it

Open Job Cash Summary: Navigate to Jobs > Job Summaries > Job Cash Summary.

Filter the report: Select the jobs and other criteria you want to include.

Create the dataset: Create a QuickSight dataset from the filtered report results.

Analyze in QuickSight: Use the dataset as a source for reports and dashboards.

QuickSight enables users to build dashboards and analyses using datasets that contain structured data. While Accountability provides preloaded datasets for standard reporting, users with Author access can create custom datasets to meet specific reporting needs.

This article explains how to create a new dataset in QuickSight, including exporting records from Accountability and loading them into QuickSight.

Additional Enhancements and Fixes

Updated column labels in Supplier Invoice Export

In the Supplier Invoice Summary and Detail exports, the column labels Approved By and Approved Date have been changed to Posted By and Posted Date.

The values in these columns identify the user who posted the transaction and the date it was posted; they do not represent approval activity. This correction makes the export labels accurate and consistent with other transaction exports. To review approval activity, open the Supplier Invoice and view its approval workflow and activity history.

Audit Trail for Custom Code Labels

Counta now records changes to Custom Code Labels, including what changed, when it changed, and who made the update. This provides greater visibility into configuration changes and supports troubleshooting and audit requirements.

Estimate templates with Resource Tracker units now import successfully

Resolved an issue that caused Estimate template imports to fail when units were included in the Resource Tracker section. Estimates can now be imported with Resource Tracker data without triggering an invalid Estimate ID error.

Electronic vendor approval for Media Insertion Orders

Vendors can now confirm or reject media insertion orders electronically

What’s new

When a Media Insertion Order is emailed to a vendor, the vendor receives the IO document together with a secure link for online review. From that link, the vendor can review, print, or save the document and then:

  • Accept the IO to confirm agreement with the booking details, OR

  • Reject the IO and provide comments explaining the reason.

Why it matters

Media teams can see which IOs still require a response and maintain a documented record of each vendor IO. The workflow reduces manual follow-up, supports faster responses, and creates a clearer approval trail for campaign delivery, audit, and compliance needs.
