What's New - January 22, 2024
Redesigned Estimate form, Option to allow attachments on posted transactions, and a new media cost reconciliation summary page
The Accountability Estimate has a new look and feel
The Accountability Estimate now has the updated user interface, consistent with other Job pages. In addition to a streamlined UI, you'll experience an enhanced Task Type look-up functionality.
Learn more about the detailed changes and enhancements here:
Option to prevent/allow attachments on posted transactions
What is it?
An option to Allow attachment or removal of files on Posted transactions is now available at the database level.
Why does it matter?
A recent system change automatically prevented attachments to transactions that have been posted. This new option gives agencies control over the workflow.
How does it work
Only designated agency administrators have access to do this
- Navigate to Set Up Files>Set Up Options and scroll down to Other Options
- Check the option Allow attachment or removal of files on Posted transactions.
- When this option is enabled, authorized users will be able to attach documents and hyperlinks to posted transactions.
Supplier invoices
Note that when this option is enabled, supplier invoice PDFs can also be added or updated on posted invoices.
Media Cost Reconciliation Summary
What is it?
The Media Cost Reconciliation Summary, also known as Media WIP (Work-In-Progress) shows the variance between the amount billed to the client and the amount invoiced by the media supplier to date.
A Media Media Schedule can have a WIP balance if:
- Media costs have been pre-billed (billed based on schedule) and supplier invoices have not been cleared for payment.
- Supplier invoices have been cleared for payment but media costs have not been billed to the client.
Why does it matter?
For agencies using Mediaocean or Accountability's native media function, media cost reconciliation is even easier with this new summary page. Instead of running a report, you can see your media cost reconciliation (Media WIP) balance at-a-glance from this page.
How does it work?
Navigate to Media>Media Summaries and select Media Cost Reconciliation Summary
