Updated Budget Import and Export Templates

What is it?

The budget import and export templates have been revised to improve consistency and accuracy. Notably, the column previously labeled Account Year Code has been changed to Accounting Year Code across all relevant templates, such as the Client Budget Import template.

Why does it matter?

This update aligns the column names with the correct terminology, ensuring more accurate data handling during budget imports and exports.

Additional Columns on Prepayments Reconciliation Export

What is it?

The Prepayments Reconciliation export now includes the following columns:

  • Total Months to be Amortized
  • No. Months Remaining
  • Up to 24 months following the end month of the request

Why does it matter?

The additional columns on the Prepayments Reconciliation export offer a comprehensive view of the prepayment schedule. They allow users to easily track how many months of the prepayment have been amortized and identify the number of remaining months in the schedule.

How does it work?

Navigate to the Accounting menu > General Ledger option > General Ledger Reports. In the Transaction Reports section, select the Prepayments Reconciliation Report. Enter the desired Accounting Year and Month range, and choose an entity or specific office(s) if needed. Click the Excel button to export the report in Excel format.
