Workflow Sequential approvals on purchase orders, transaction types, page titles, and menu names, .... journal descriptions, and display account numbers on financial statements.
Sequential Approvals
Infrastructure and Purchase Orders
This is an extension/addition to our existing Manager Approvals function and provides two main capabilities:
- Enable sequential manager approvals for a single transaction entry. For example, the record must be first approved by one supervisor and then by another supervisor after the first approval.
- Define manager approvals based on rules, not on individual employee approvers/supervisors. This new function uses the existing manager approval structure but triggers the creation of manager approvals records in an alternative way. After that point, the process for approving records by managers remains unchanged.

Transaction Type, Page Titles, and Menu names
As part of a longer-term project, we will be renaming functions, changing transaction type names, restructuring the manage and approve main menu, and altering page titles. This change will improve the clarity and consistency of language across the platform, making it easier for users to navigate and understand its features while streamlining processes and reducing confusion.
