Company Settings and Set Up Options

Company Settings

"Company Settings" is now its own option within Set Up Files with a dedicated Audit Trail report.

Separating this from the "Set Up Options" gives you more granular control over user access group permissions to these distinct configuration areas.  By default, all access groups who had access to the original  "Set Up Options" page have access to the new  "Company Settings".   

Posting GL Accounts Audit Trail

As part of this change, the audit trail for "Posting GL Accounts" has been removed into its dedicated Audit Trail report.  This can be accessed by navigating to Accounting>General Ledger Accounts and clicking on the Posting GL Accounts link on the top of the page. 

 

Set Up Options Audit Trail 

"Set Up Options" now have audit trail capabilities starting March 8th. This new feature allows administrators to track all changes made to system configuration settings, including which user made the change, when it occurred, and what was modified.

Client Profitability Summary with Monthly Option

Get profitability insights even faster with the new Client Profitability Summary. This powerful feature, accessible through Accounting > General Ledger > General Ledger Statements & Reports, provides on-demand analysis without having to run a full report.

Key Features

  • Indirect Overhead Calculation: Calculate indirect overhead based on monthly revenue or labor costs, or by summing values across the entire period.
  • Flexible Filtering: Apply multiple filters to analyze profitability by office, client, time period, and more.
  • Real-time Data: Get instant insights with the "Get Data" button that refreshes your summary based on your selected parameters.

Simply set your desired parameters using the filters at the top of the page and click "GET DATA" to load or refresh your summary.

Multi-Estimate Import: Streamlining Your Workflow

You can now import multiple Estimates simultaneously into Accountability using our new Excel template! This enhancement streamlines the process of bringing multiple Estimates into the system at once, saving time and reducing manual data entry. Simply download the template from the Excel menu in Jobs > Estimates, populate it with your data, and import it back to instantly create multiple Estimates.

Expense Claim - Amount Including Tax

We've added an "Amount Incl Tax" column to the Expense Claims Approval page to better align with how expenses are entered by default in the system. This addition gives approvers a more complete picture of expense amounts including tax, enabling more informed approval decisions.

You can easily add this column to your view by clicking the Layout button in the top-right corner of the Expense Claims Approval page. From there, you can customize your layout by selecting the "Amount Incl Tax" column and saving your preferences - either as a new view or by overriding your default layout.

Smart Sequential Approval for Approval Scenarios

We've streamlined the approval process in Approval Scenarios! When the same manager is assigned to consecutive approval sequences, the system now automatically approves subsequent steps after the manager's initial approval.

For example, if Manager A approves a credit card entry at Sequence 1 and is also the approver for Sequence 2, the system will:

  • Automatically generate an approval record for Sequence 2
  • Skip sending redundant approval notifications
  • Maintain approval integrity across the workflow

This intelligent enhancement reduces approval bottlenecks and eliminates unnecessary steps when the same person would be approving multiple times in an Approval Scenario.

Audit Trail for Budgets and Budget Versions

Audit trail reporting is now available for the following pages: 

  • Expense Budgets:  Accounting >Budgets>Expense Budgeters
  • Client Budgets: Accounting>Budgets>Client Budgets
  • Budget Versions: Accounting>Budgets>Budget Set-up>Budget Versions

This enhancement improves accountability and transparency by allowing you to track who made changes to budget, when these changes occurred, and what specific modifications were made.
