Streamlined bank reconciliation and advanced job filters
Streamlined bank reconciliation
The Reconcile Bank Transactions page has a new look and feel and an enhanced experience to streamline the bank reconciliation process.
- "Presented" has been replaced with "Reconciled" throughout the page.
- Filters have been added to the page, so you can easily zoom into specific transactions without going back to the previous page to apply filters.
- The Batch ID column has been added to identify batch payments easily. Batch payments can also now be grouped into one line so they can be auto-matched to the bank transaction if your bank is rolling up these payments into one line on the bank statement. Learn more about payment Batch IDs from last week's release.
- Client name, Supplier name, and Journal description have been added to the page to be referenced during the matching process.
- Instead of clicking Calc after selecting the transactions, view a running total at the bottom of the page for selected Accountability and bank statement transactions, and the Difference between the two.
For a detailed walk-through of this page, see Bank reconciliation: Match GL transactions with bank statement transactions.
Advanced job filtering
The Revenue Tracker and Resource Tracker landing pages have been updated with the new Job filtering functionality, providing users with more flexibility and options.
How it works?
- Navigate to Jobs>Revenue Tracker>Revenue Tracker or Jobs>Resource Tracker>Resource Tracker.
- Click on the search icon in the Job field.
3. This brings up the advanced Job Filter dialog with the following tabs.
- Jobs
- Job Types
- Job Managers
- Production Managers
- Custom fields: See Location, Producer, Finance lead, Scope Status in the example below. These fields are agency-defined so your agency will have a different list.
We will progressively update other pages with this advanced filtering capability. As of this release, it is only available on the Revenue Tracker and Resource Tracker landing pages.
Export Revenue Tracker list into Excel
You can now export your revenue tracker list into Excel.
How it works?
- Navigate to Jobs>Resource Tracker>Resource Tracker.
- Click on the List Export icon on the top right of the page.
- Choose whether to export the summary (what's shown on the page) or the underlying details for each estimate. Click Ok.
