Added flexibility in time off management
Request multiple leave types for the same date
Employees can now request multiple leave types for the same date, as long as the sum of leave hours does not exceed the Daily Leave Hours on your Employee record. Before this release, the system only allowed one leave record per day.
For example:
(1) Jo Smith has 8.00 Daily Leave Hours on their Employee record.
(2) A half day Leave (0.50) equals 4.00 Hours.
(3) I can have multiple Leaves across different Leave Types in one day as long as the number of hours does not exceed my daily leave allowance. For example, I can use half of my Floating Holiday allocation and half PTO (Personal Time Off).
(4) Both leave types are recorded on the Time off line on my timesheet.
Record half-day public holidays
Your agency admin can now record a half-day public holiday. Employees can also now submit a half-day leave request when there's a half-day public holiday.
Improved journal reporting
The Journal Report is a detailed GL transaction report that includes all manual and system-generated journals for the specified period.
Include Cancelled journals
By default, cancelled journals are excluded from the Journal Report.
(1) An option has been added to Include Cancelled Journals.
(2) If this option is checked, cancelled journals will have data in the Cancelled by and Cancelled Date columns in the Excel version of the report.
(3) On the PDF version, the cancellation details are in red font on the top of the report, as shown on the example below.
Supplier code dissection
For a supplier-specific transaction, the journal now includes the corresponding Supplier code on the PDF Journal Report. The Excel export now includes a Supplier Code to the right of the Product Code column.
Updated General Ledger Accounts Export
Prepayments Control Account No. Column
The General Ledger Accounts Excel export now includes a Prepayments Control Account No. column. This makes it easier to identify prepaid expense accounts with our without a Prepayment Control Account No., which is required for prepayment amortization.
Enhanced credit card supplier invoice
Option to skip employee notification for deleted invoices
Before this release, the credit card employee was automatically notified if a credit card supplier invoice has been deleted.
With this release, the AP user is presented with an option to skip this notification. After deleting an unposted credit card supplier invoice, a confirmation pop-up appears:
"Do you want to send rejection email and message to the credit card employee?"
Press No to skip the notification. This is especially useful for agencies who are importing card transactions from a third-party system and do not want to send notifications to employees who are managing their credit card expenses outside of Accountability.
If multiple invoices are selected for deletion and the selection includes credit card transactions, this pop-up confirmation will appear.
Bug Fixes
Payment Batch ID filter
When you generate a batch of payments and navigate back to the Search Payments page, the Payment Batch ID is now auto-populated, filtering the list of unposted payments based on the latest batch.
