Redesigned Job Cost & Billing Summary
Updated UI
The Job Cost & Billing Summary page UI has been updated to be consistent with other pages in the platform. The Layout icon has been moved up to the top right of the page. The line item action buttons are now at the bottom of the page and only appears if one or more lines are selected.
Include Custom Columns on Layout
Agency-defined job fields can now be added as part of your layout view. Data exported from this view will include these custom fields.
Advanced Expense Budget Filters
Searching for expense budgets is even easier with the following advanced filters.
Enhanced GL Account Filters
The GL Account No and GL Account Name filters have been consolidated into an advanced GL Account filter. Click on the search icon for additional filter options: Enter a range of accounts, select specific GL Account Types, and/or Report Groups.
New Job Filters
Job-level budgets give agencies the option to forecast expenses at a more granular level than GL accounts, without the need to create sub-accounts.
Click on the Job search icon to bring up various filter options: Search by Job No, Job Description, Job Types, Job Managers, Production Managers, or Custom Fields.
See View Expense Budgets for more details.
Manage>Expense Claims
Post approved expense claims
Expense claim supplier invoices can now be posted directly from the Manage>Expense Claims page. Select the line(s) to be posted and click the Finance Post button at the bottom of the page.
Redesigned Expense Claim details
Clicking on the Expense Claim No. hyperlink on the Manage>Expense Claims page brings up the detailed Expense Claims. The page has been redesigned to match the Expense Claims from My Expenses. Un-Submitted expense claims can be edited directly from this page.
New controls when copying an Estimate with invalid Task Types
Proactive message when copying an Estimate within the same job
When copying an Estimate within the same Job, the system now pops up a warning if there are inactive task types in the source Estimate. Click Save to proceed with copying the Estimate.
Stricter controls when copying an Estimate across different jobs
When copying an Estimate with an inactive task type across jobs, the system now prevents the Estimate from being copied. The message "The Estimate you are copying from has lines with inactive task types, the estimate cannot be copied."
Stricter controls when using a Template with inactive Task Types
When applying an Estimate Template with inactive task types, the system now prevents the template from being used. Update the Estimate to ensure that only active task types are included.
