Manage locked transaction types for multiple jobs

Manage locked transaction types for multiple jobs

Locking a transaction type for a job allows agencies to create jobs for a specific purpose.  For example, a job can be created for time entries or expenses only.  Or the reverse, where an agency can exclude external costs from posting to a job.

Locking transaction types on a job is also helpful when a job is completed, but cannot be deactivated because there are pending transactions.  Agencies can lock transaction types that are fully reconciled to prevent new transactions.

Lock transaction types for multiple jobs at one time

You can now lock transaction types for multiple jobs at one time.

  1. Apply the desired filter
  2. Select the jobs you'd like to update
  3. Click on the Lock Transactions button on the bottom right of the page
  4. Select the transaction types to lock by moving them from the left to the right side of the Lock Transactions page.

Run the "Job Transaction Locks" report

You can now easily see if jobs on your view have locked transactions. If any of the jobs listed on the Search Jobs page have at least one locked transaction, a link to the Transaction Locks report is dynamically displayed on the top of the page.

The system generates an Excel export with the jobs listed and all transaction types across the columns.  An 'x' is placed on the cell for the job and transaction type that is locked for that job.

Support ticket author and creation date

The support ticket author, creation date, and time are now displayed in the initial message. This is important for Admins or Shared Services teams who are tracking all support requests for their agency.
