WIP Takeups - How to Create using Batch Method
Overview:
You can process multiple WIP Takeups in one batch rather than using the WIP Takeup Wizard
Steps:
1. Navigate to to JOBS> Jobs
2. On the Search Jobs Landing page set filter(s) to isolate the jobs you want to take up and make inactive. Select the job by placing a check/tick in the box to the left of the Job Numbers.
3. Select TAKE UP button.
4. Now select the take up type and date/accounting month etc. as usual and click
NEXT.
As you're processing multiple WIP Takeups at the one time, the WIP Takeup Type ie Job Balance, Selected Balance etc must be the same for all of the WIP Takeups in the batch.
5. Take Ups will be created for the balance of all of the selected jobs
6. Check the box MAKE JOB INACTIVE if you also want to close out/deactivate the
jobs.
7. Once complete, you will need to approve the WIP Take Ups created.
