Choose FX rate source on GL reports and transaction search

General Ledger Transaction Search

The GL Transaction Search function has been updated with multiple FX rate sources for the user to select from to calculate the Display Currency values on the page. Previously, the Display Currency defaulted to the current FX rate from the Currencies table. Users can choose from the following FX rate sources:

  1. Current FX Rate
  2. Consolidated FX Rates
  3. Monthly FX Rate Card - only available if requesting for one accounting year

These exchange rates can be accessed through Set Up Files > Currencies

Client Billings and Revenue Reports

The option to select Consolidated FX Rates and Monthly FX Rate Cards is now available on Client Billings and Revenue Reports.

Navigate to Accounting > General Ledger > General Ledger Reports and scroll down to Client Billings & Revenue Reports to select from the list of various report formats.  .

Below is how the options are laid out on the Client Revenue Report.

Include product in journal import

Our journal import template has been updated to include a Product Code column. This is especially helpful when importing balances dissected down to the product level. The journal import template can be downloaded from the Search Journals page by clicking on the Import link.

The Product Code column has been inserted between the Client Code and Employee Code columns. If you have automated import routines, please download the updated template.

View supplier invoice payment status at a glance

With the recent redesign of the supplier invoice form, access to payment details has been moved within the Activity menu.  We added a payment status next to the total invoice amount so you can quickly see if the invoice is Unpaid, Paid, or Part Paid.

[Bug Fix] WHT duplicated when copying supplier invoices

The release of the redesigned supplier form also included an enhanced workflow for invoices with WHT deductions (see Release Notes).

The issue:

WHT deductions were being duplicated on the journal for any supplier invoice that was copied from another invoice with WHT.  The WHT report is showing the correct (non-duplicated) amount.

The fix:

WHT are no longer copied from the original invoice. To apply the WHT on the new invoice, navigate to Activity>WHT to review/override the WHT or Base Amount.

For supplier invoices with WHT impacted prior to this fix, un-post and repost to update the journal.
